A traditional golf and country club set in beautiful countryside offering 27 holes of golf, a state of the art gym, health spa and accommodation, close to Gatwick in West Sussex.

The requirement was to upgrade the boiler system as part of the club’s environmental sustainability initiative and wider refurbishment programme.

Baystar installed a 199kW pellet automatic biomass boiler including a feed system within an existing building, alongside a district heating system to transport the heat across the property, utilising existing radiator and hot water systems. Baystar also completed the refurbishment of the leisure facility, plant and equipment, upgrading the dehumidification system, air handling and pool heating.

A project of this size has a fuel cost saving of approximately 25%.
