Commercial Renewable Systems

Commercial

Over the past 12 years, Baystar has been involved in designing, supplying, and installing many large scale and commercial projects: renewable systems in over eight National Trust properties, large commercial swimming pools, office buildings, council buildings, shared ground loop schemes, and large Heat Pump Plantroom installations. We work closely with many design professionals, including Architects, Mechanical Consultants, and Project Managers to help design, specify and install commercial Heat Pump Systems.

Country Estates

The Baystar team has been privileged to work on some of the South-East’s most prestigious country estates. Over the last decade we’ve become recognised as the area’s most trusted premium renewable designer and installer. Whether we’re working directly for the estate owner, or their in-house team, Baystar has the expertise to implement the best and most suitable renewable systems to help reduce the estate owner’s carbon footprint, save money on ever increasing energy bills, and work sympathetically and in harmony with each estate’s original buildings.

Installation: how does Baystar work?

PHASE 1
Site Visit and Desktop Assessment
This is where we look at the specifics of the project. Because every property or development is unique, each project we take on has a bespoke solution designed by our in-house engineers and technicians. We look to provide a quote on the specifications outlined in tender information and will often give suggestions and consult on alternative equipment where we see fit based on our extensive experience in the industry with various manufacturers. Our team will submit the tender directly to the main contractor, consultant or owner as per the request.

PHASE 1
PHASE 2
Design
Depending on what is required in the specifications outlined in tender, we will design a system with the highest efficiency in mind often advising on how to utilise excess heat from a cooling system at a leisure centre for example. Our designs include Heat Loss Assessments, pipework and electrical control layouts and are bespoke to every project.
2
PHASE 2
PHASE 3
The Fit
Our work usually takes place during three particular phases of any property: the build, the refurb, or the ‘retrofit’. During a build or a refurb (house extension, building renovation), construction teams are usually already on site, so our team can come in and work alongside your existing team. A ‘retrofit’ project simply means that we’re the only project happening at that time. Each system is unique, just like the properties we work in. Our engineers will work diligently to minimise disruption, installing as much of the replacement system as possible before turning off, draining down and removing your existing system.
3
PHASE 3
AFTERCARE
Always There
Once everything is installed and running perfectly, we don’t just leave you holding the proverbial baby. We ensure the system is set to the perfect settings, are fully registered with MSC and we’ll arrange the official warranty with the manufacturer, and provide a fully comprehensive handover pack to troubleshoot any issues, certificates for all the relevant parts, and any extra information we think you may need in the future. We’ll answer any questions you have post-fit and we can return annually to make sure your panels are fully serviced and covered for warranty.

Renewable Maintenance

Your Renewable Heat System is a long-term investment and so maintaining it is just as important as the installation. Baystar work in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure that the warranty remains valid. We can offer a fully insured maintenance contract for all new installations, or we can be called to service installations laid down by other companies. All our engineers are fully certified and trained to the highest standards, with years of experience in maintaining bespoke renewable systems.
