A magnificent country house on an extensive working farm, with commercial shooting and world-class equestrian facilities.
The requirement was to reduce the estate’s reliance on oil and LPG fuel by sustainably providing heating and hot water to the five properties on the estate. The presence of a large lake on the property meant that a water source heat pump was the natural choice.
Baystar installed a 90kW water source heat pump using a cascade system, alongside a quasi-district heating scheme to link the separate buildings together.
