Baystar were approached to reduce the utility bills at this Grade II-listed property in Sussex, in the initial discussions the client was unsure as to whether a Water or Air Source Heat pump would be suitable for their project as they had a body of water they were considering however the pond proved not to have sufficient area so Baystar provided a desktop assessment and gave options for a Ground and Air Source systems, so they could compare efficiency and economical benefit.

Baystar were then employed to design, supply and install 60kW worth of heating through two air source heat pumps located at the rear of the property to connected to a 400l cylinder to serve the heating and hot water to the house and a swimming pool.
