A composting, landscape gardening and tree surgery business in Scaynes Hill which hosts a number of residential houses, office buildings, industrial units and various workshops.
The requirement was to enable KPS to use the vast amounts of wood generated as a by-product of their tree-surgery business, as well as clean waste wood, as fuel.
Baystar installed a large 400kW biomass boiler in a purpose-built barn, alongside an underground district heating network which provides heat to all of the individual buildings. Baystar ensured that this process caused as little disruption as possible, enabling KPS to continue trading as normal throughout the installation phase of the project.
