An idyllic farm estate set in 200 acres of woodland featuring a 6 bedroom farmhouse, separate cottage, office, gym private stables and an outdoor pool.
The requirement was to design and install a biomass boiler and district heating system to heat the main farmhouse, a stable cottage and outdoor pool.
Baystar installed a 80kW biomass boiler alongside a small district heating scheme. Baystar also modified an existing outbuilding to create a plant-room and constructed a custom-built high-specification woodchip store incorporating a chip shifter.
A project of this size has a fuel cost saving of approximately 50%.
